About this tool

A watermark communicates status: that a document is a draft, is confidential, or is a copy rather than the executed original. It works by being visible on every page and on every printout, so the label travels with the paper. This tool draws semi-transparent rotated text through the centre of each page. Because it edits the document rather than re-rendering it, the underlying text stays selectable and the file barely grows.

How to use

Add a PDF file.

Adjust the opacity — around 18% is readable without obscuring the content.

Tips
